Massachusetts has nine of the 100 richest ZIP codes in the United States, according to Bloomberg's annual ranking. Weston was the first to make the list, clocking in at No. 11.
The report is based on the highest average adjusted gross income in each ZIP code, looking at those with at least 200 tax returns as of the 2016 filing season and 500 housing units; there were more than 22,000. (The average adjusted gross income in Weston is $757,000, according to the report.)

The other four Massachusetts ZIP codes that made the top 100 are Wellesley (02481), which was listed at No. 32 with an average adjusted gross income of $539,500; Dover (02030), which came in at No. 55 with an income of $467,100; Newton (02468), which ranked 82d with an income of $388,000; and Sherborn (01770), which slipped onto the list at No. 96, with an income of $355,700.
