R.E.M. Bassist Mike Mills Lists Home Overlooking Hollywood Bowl for $6.5M!

Mike Mills, the bass guitar player for R.E.M, has his 1959 Los Angeles Hollywood Hills home up on the market for $6.5 million. The property sits on an elevated and very private lot with panoramic views of the Griffith Observatory and the The Hollywood Bowl. The home offers 3,952 sq ft of living space and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. Mike Mills has owned the home for years, and the amount of customization is unreal. The bathrooms are all singular with the master becing decorated with swirling, Van Gogh-esque representations. There is also a series of patios and staircases, all culminating in a pool and sun deck positioned for lounging. While sitting here, you can enjoy clear and beautiful views. The property also comes with an adjoining lot lined with solar panels. Mills co-founded R.E.M in the 1980 and since then, the prolific group has become one of the bestselling bands of all time with 15 studio albums, six EPs and four live albums. Truly a stunning property!
