Chelsea Handler was hesitant about selling her luxurious Bel-Air mansion for the past few years. Now, the property is listed for $10.5 million which is about half a million less than what she was asking before.
Handler upgraded the property originally built-in 1964. The one-acre property is 5,572 sq ft of living space featuring six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms.
The residence is spacious with open layouts and multiple walls of glass that open to the stylish gardens. The indoor space includes a gourmet kitchen, a loft-like great room, a formal dining room, and a formal living area. The main suite has a massive closet and dressing room, besides, a large marble bathroom with a sauna and steam shower. The property includes two terraces with sitting areas, one of which is accessed by the main bedroom.
Outside a 50 ft pool, a meditation garden, and several walking paths decorate the grounds. Plus, a fireplace, an outdoor living area, and a full outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven.
The comedian was trying to sell the property that has been on and off the market since 2018. By then the asking price was set at $11.5M. Handler purchased the gated property back in 2010 for over $5.9M.
