Former WeWork CEO, Adam Neumann, Lists Corte Madera Estate

Former WeWork CEO, Adam Neumann, has listed his Corte Madera estate for $27.5M. The extravagant estate is 15,112 square ft of living space on an over-10-acre lot.

Neumann purchased this single-family in 2018 for $21.4M, almost $4M under the 2017 listing price.

The property was owned by Bill Graham, a rock concert promoter from the 60s, and the "Guitar House" was his last residence before his fateful helicopter crash in 1991.

In 2019, Neumann, 41, stepped down as CEO shortly before it canceled a planned public offering. Since then, he has also relaxed with his luxury home portfolio. Maybe he's got what he wants already, or maybe he's about to go on a Hesse-level spiritual voyage. We'll see.

In 2003, the home was renovated completely by eco-friendly architect Sim Van der Ryn. The massive residence took five years to restructure and now features seven bedrooms,  more than five bathrooms, a detached office, an exercise studio, a five-car garage, two-guest homes, and staff quarters.

The living space includes a formal living and dining room, and a chef's kitchen with high-level appliances, a family room modern yet filled with luxurious details, a home theater and music studio, a library-loft, a racquetball court, an entertainment/game room.

Outdoors of this unique home include a pool and spa, a commercial-grade waterslide, and a sports court, besides the lovely lawn and patio with a fireplace.

One of the perks of this home is that has solar and geothermal systems allowing a new owner to go off the grid, and actually saving money and helping the environment, it also comes with a greenhouse, a herb garden, chicken coop, and beekeeping space.

The home is set on a hill lot which allows views to San Francisco and is minutes away from the Golden Gate Bridge.

In addition, the real estate expert listed his three-story penthouse in NYC for $37.5M earlier this year, which is still available for purchase.

After leaving the firm in September 2019, the commercial real estate company's co-founders, Adam and his wife Rebekah spend their time doing what started it all: flipping real estate.

This home is currently on the market for $27.5M.
