Diana Jenkins is a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and active member within Malibu's "society." She is now listing her cliffside estate with a price tag clocking in at $125M.
Jenkins has owned the 3,827 sq. ft. property for fifteen years, having acquired it for $21M in 2005. This private residence sits on a 2.98-acre lot in Paradise Cove, one of the most exclusive beaches in the city, next to WhatsApp's former CEO Jan Koum's $100M compound.
Jenkins' property consists of a main house, a guardhouse, a guesthouse, and, to top it all off, a funicular for transport to the massive cabana sitting above the sand.
The Southwestern-style main building features a single story with four bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, glass slider doors that open into the large stone patios, and gardens, sitting and dining areas, an in-ground pool and the ocean views. Other noteworthy features include a recording studio, a media room, and a master suite with dual bathrooms and walk-in closets.
The multi-story guest house at the front of the property includes its own kitchen, three bedrooms, hardwood floors throughout, and top-shelf appliances. The other standalone complex, the guard house, is designed for full-time security details, and overlooks the long driveway from within the gates.
Jenkins' estate was previously owned by Kenny Rogers back in the 80s', who installed the private funicular, although there is a staircase that leads to the cabana, a private bar, and a fire pit.
After her divorce from Roger Jenkins in 2011, the multi-millionaire started an energy company called Neuro. She also wrote a coffee table book called Room 23, featuring photos of her celebrity friends such as George Clooney, Elton John, and, thankfully, Cindy Crawford.
She has revealed to the public the reason behind the sale. Her two children recently graduated from high school, and, after conquering the American dream, she would like to move back to her native Bosnia, where her parents and family reside.
