The co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, left behind an extravagant collection of properties throughout the country. Now his Atherton home is currently on the market for $41.5M. 

The 21,030-square-foot mansion sits on almost two acres on private land in Atherton. Atherton is a wealthy town known for large estates and billionaire residents. Mr. Allen and his sister purchased this one-and-only mansion in 2013 for $27M, right after they opened a Palo Alto Office of Vulcan. 

Built by the Pacific Peninsula Group, the interiors of the mansion embrace the contemporary design of white walls, high ceilings, large,wood-framed windows and doors, large modern paintings, and creative light fixtures.
