Bright Nights, Springfield

Sunday-Thursday: 5:00-9:00 pm

Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays: 5:00-11:00 pm

Bright Nights at Forest Park started with a flyer from Carpenter Decorating and has grown and become known as the Northeast’s premier holiday lighting experience.  It has been named seven times as one of the Top 100 Attractions in North America by the American Bus Association, listed on People.com as “One of the Top Ten Holiday Happenings in America,” and been featured in the New York Times, and magazine that include Motorhome, Colonial Homes, Yankee and U.S. Airways, as well as on Yahoo.com.

Somerville Illumination Trolley Tour

Saturday, December 17 from 4:30 - 10:00 pm

Come celebrate the folk artistry of residents who transform their houses and yards with lights, illuminated ornaments, and shrines of devotion and fantasy. 45 minute Trolley Tours leave from (and return to) Somerville City Hall where coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies are served. In addition, craft activities for children and changing annual events.

Zoolights, Stoneham

5:00 to 9:00 pm through January 1

ZooLights promises to dazzle visitors of all ages. Enter a winter wonderland of tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. Stroll through festively decorated Yukon Creek, home to bald eagles, Canada lynx and reindeer.

Blink! Faneuil Hall

Daily from 4:30 - 9:30 pm

Runs through January 1

Blink! - the state-of-the-art light and sound extravaganza that transforms every inch of America's first open marketplace - returns to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Marketplace Center for a fourth year. This magical and unforgettable light show uses over 350,000 LED lights to illuminate Boston's skyline - to the song stylings of the Holiday Pops - in a seven-minute spectacle that runs continuously each evening beginning November 20th.

Winter Reimagined At Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Boylston

Wednesday – Sunday: 11:00 to 3:00 and 4:00 to 9:00

Runs through January 8

Marvel at glittering light displays indoors and out, uniquely decorated trees and nature-inspired ornaments, lush conservatories, children’s scavenger hunts, and more. Join us during the day to explore the gardens, trails, conservatories, and uniquely decorated trees and nature-inspired ornaments.  As evening falls all of the glittering outdoor lights transform the gardens into a winter wonderland

Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Boylston; $12/$17 GA, $9/$12 for seniors ages 65 and up, $7 for kids ages 6 to 18, free for members and kids ages 5 and under

La Salette Shring, Attleboro

Monday – Friday: 5:00 to 9:00

Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 – 9:00

Traffic can get very heavy on weekends, especially Saturday night.  If you can plan your trip for a weekday, you will find easy entrance.  If you do wish to go on the weekend, they advise you get there before 4:30 PM to miss the traffic.
