The Hyde Community Center welcomes Legit Band for a live performance. Bring blankets, beach chairs and enjoy the music. With a full horn section that includes saxophone/clarinet and two trumpets/flugelhorn, Legit Band will have you dancing to everything from Beyoncé to Frank Sinatra. Love to sing? Come out to the Commonwealth Chorale Auditions

Commonwealth Chorale (formerly Newton Choral Society) is looking for new members with voices that blend, good vocal technique, musicianship (including sight-reading ability), and devotion to the art of ensemble singing! Auditions for experienced choral singers in all voice parts will be held by appointment only on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 6. Audition requests must be received by Aug. 31.
