A fabulous city-wide celebration and showcase of Newton's talented citizens and organizations.
The festival starts Saturday April 9 and continues hosting daily activities until Saturday June 11. Amongst the variety of events are included: LGBT Dinner & Swing Dancing Lesson at the Newton Senior Center and The Music for Food Concert at Newton Cultural Center at City Hall.
The events, which are sponsored by Newton Community Pride and the Mayor's Office for Cultural Affair, aim to celebrate and showcase Newton's talent and bring the community together.
Net proceeds from the city run Festival events will go to the 4 Newton food pantries and the smaller not for profit arts and cultural organizations in the city so that they may continue to thrive, cultivate and support.
