Niche.com, a website that collects data and complies information on neighborhoods, schools, and colleges, recently released their list of top suburbs in America to live in. While it received poor marks for weather, Brookline had high enough rankings in the other categories to pass Piedmont, California; Bronxville, New York; Albany, California; and Scarsdale New York in the #2 and #5 positions. Other Boston suburbs on the list were Lexington (#49), Wellesley (#64), Weston (#78), and Belmont (#98). These towns were, presumably, affected by the weather category like Brookline, as well as the housing category for the high cost of rent.
