Consumers are Becoming More Optimistic about the Economy

tech

With an increase in employment opportunities, consumers are becoming more optimistic about the economy.  In turn, this improves the housing market.  Fannie Mae’s February 2015 Housing Survey™ showed an all time high of 47 percent of people think that the economy is headed in the right direction.  It also showed a record high of 54 percent of people thinking that it would be easy to get a mortgage.

The results of the survey show that the improving economy will help pull up the housing market in 2015.  While it is important to continue to increase consumer confidence, consumer trends are headed in a positive direction.
