Dispose of Your Independence Day Flags Properly
Following the Fourth of July weekend, many of us may be finding that our American flags have seen better days and need to be retired.
Ace Hardware stores are offering to properly dispose of American flags.
"When you're ready to retire a worn flag, your local Ace can help you dispose of it properly and honorably as well," a post on their website notes.
You can also bring American flags to your local American Legion for disposal. And if you'd like to properly dispose of a flag yourself, the American Legion offers this helpful guide.
