Crown Pigeon Island & Cays

Situated in the northwestern harbor just off shore of North Eleuthera, these private island & cays are in the unique position of laying between the edges of the white sand flats to the west and the aquamarine shallows of Harbor Island harbor to the east. This is an exceptional location, being near as it is to Harbor Island. To reach historic Dunmore Town on Harbor Island is only a 10-minute boat ride, where one can enjoy its restaurants, shops, and scenic and friendly village with the famed Pink Sands beach. The island ownership includes a vessel ideally suited for short inter-island travel like this.

Crown Pigeon Island boasts 11 acres of lush native foliage including a small broadleaf coppice, native hardwoods and coastal vegetation, orchids and kitchen vegetable gardens, all beautifully intertwined between the walking and cart paths that meander around the island. It has 3 natural beaches on its north, south, and west sides respectively. The north beach offers an existing beach club/bar/BBQ facility, ideal for water sports and swimming in the gin clear water and powder white sands. The famed Bonefish flats are but a convenient walk to the west. The property includes over 12,000 sq. ft. of well-built homes, cottages and other outbuildings. It features 3 sizeable, well-designed Island Villas, two infinity pools, and 5 well appointed guest cottages, all enjoying cooling sea breezes with commanding views of the water, nearby Harbor Island, and other islands in the harbor. Crown Pigeon Island currently offers 15 sleeping rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, several functional patios, deck spaces, courtyards, gardens, outdoor kitchens, and fireplaces, which can accommodate up to 30 people at one time in true Out Island island style and luxury.

A tidy, 4-acre harbor entered on the leeward (west) side, which is a sea turtle sanctuary, offers over 8ft of draft, a 50ft turning radius, and extensive spans of breasting dockage with space for 4-5 large center console vessels. In addition, the marina has 2 boat lifts, a hauling ramp, a floating dock for ease of arrival, and a boat house with 2 bathrooms. Centrally located on the island, this is the ideal private island marina facility. Crown Pigeon Island is connected to Eleuthera by a BPL (power) cable, and therefore does not rely on remote power, as it is tied into the mainland Eleuthera grid. Several additional transformers are already in place on the island that allow for even more homes or facilities to be constructed. The island has a large water-maker system, organic composter, back-up generators, water pressure systems, and high speed internet throughout the homes and living spaces.
