Porter Square's Rand to Feed Condo-Starved Cambridge 20 Units

A perennial for-sale crunch in the People's Republic fuels a climate of bidding wars and over-asks harsh even by Greater Boston standards.</p> <p>So! When along comes a new development in Cambridge, it's newsworthy (not least, too, because new developments in the city typically leap high hurdles). The ground-up Rand at Porter is expected to bring 20 1- and 2-BR condos to, well, the Porter Square area, just beyond the Red Line stop there.
